As you must be knowing Megaupload is one of the most popular file hosting services (next only to rapidshare) in the world today. The only annoying thing they have is the country slot limit which can be only removed when we install their toolbar. This toolbar is considered as spyware and I myself never use it and surely won’t recommend it to anyone as well. Previously, there have been several tricks and hacks to get rid of this country slot limit, but all have become out-dated and don’t work anymore.
Megaupload Downloader 2008 is a free tool that allows you to download files hosted at Megaupload and can be used to bypass the country slot limit. This little tool works just like any other browser, and even provides an option to search files directly on Megaupload.
