First of all, I would like to apologize to all beloved readers of Technically Personal for the consistent downtime of the website over the past 2 days.
As most of you know, Technically Personal moved from a free host to a paid host (LunarPages) last month. It was a huge risk and effort for me personally, since TP was just getting popular and I lost lots of backlinks and Pagerankings. But i didn’t care much since I wanted to have a stable and hasslefree host for my wordpress blog. I always knew I could get back the lost backlinks and blog readers.
Unfortunately, LunarPages, which promised Unlimited Bandwidth + unlimited Storage for the new subscribers has turned out to be a real pain in the a$$
They have managed to consistently take down my site for no apparent reasons and the technical support people working there are provided with ready made answers which they refer to whenever i contact them.
Shared Hosting is really proving to be a pain. I am doing some analysis on Shared Hosting, and hopefully by tomorrow I will come up with a post on why shared hosting is a bad option if you are coming up with a blog hoping to make it popular.
Once again, apologies to all my readers (on RSS and otherwise), I would hope to settle this issue once and for all very soon. till then kindly bear with me, you would surely be provided with interesting and happening stuff over the internet.
If you enjoyed this post, make sure you subscribe to my RSS feed!

Well unfortunately, unlimited storage + bandwidth is not the same as unlimited CPU Usage
I was using 66.6% CPU usage on the server when Lunarpages warned me, which was fair enough lol

absolutely true Michael..
Unfortunately most of the newbies don’t understand the difference between unlimited bandwidth and unlimited CPU usage and fall prey to the marketing tactics.
When you try getting high traffic (so that your unlimited bandwidth is utilized), your CPU usage will automatically increase and your website is taken down. At the end of the day, unlimited bandwidth hardly make sense in a realistic way
