We had a wonderful end to 2008 here at Technically Personal! Below are few reasons to substantiate the claim!
- Technically personal moved from a crappy shared host at Lunarpages to a wonderful VPS host - Knownhost who have been wonderful to me during and after moving my website. They have an awesome support guys who know what they are doing and equally good Sales team. No more down-times at TP now!!
- We managed to cross the barrier of 100 Subscribers this December. We now have almost 120+ subscribers through RSS and Email! Thanks a lot all you wonderful readers.
- I can see a huge jump in Alexa rankings as well. Though its true that I don’t give a damn to their stats, i take it as an indication that we are doing some of the things right!
- There has been a steady increase in website traffic as proved by the snapshot from Google Analytics below.
As you can see, there is a major blip in traffic around December 7th. That is when I ran into problems with Lunarpages shared web hosting (All my ramblings about it – here & here). If not for that week, the stats would have been even better! More than 400 uniques per day for the site is not a bad stat at all?!
- On the very last day of the year, Google treated me with a PR of 2 for the homepage!! Other pages have a rating of 1,2 & 3. As most of you know, TP didn’t have a PR before, this is just a beginning
I take this opputunity to thank all the subscribers, friends, blogger buddies & well wishers of Technically Personal and wish you all a happy, prosperous, peaceful, mind-blowing and successful 2009!
