There are lots of software which allows you to hide a folder on your Windows PC. But here is the easiest way to do that. All it takes is less than a minute! Here is how -

  1. Right click on the folder you want to hide and select Properties –> Customize tab –> Change Icon button.
  2. You will find few blank icons, select one of them and click OK. Folder icon should now have disappeared.
  3. To hide the name box, right click on the folder icon (which is a blank icon) and select “Rename“. Activate the Numlock and press Alt+0160 and then press Enter.

You are done! It hardly took a minute, ain’t it?!

  3. i use s/w to hide folders so far. now will give it a try.
