2. Enter your Name, Country and email address. Make sure your eMail ID is proper.
3. You will receive the license key by eMail.
4. Download Camtasia Studio v3.1.2 from this old versions page of Techsmith.
5. During Installation, it will ask for installation type, choose “Licensed – I have the key”
6. Rest of the installation is straight forward.

I triggered the same error message as Nitin, but checked my email as you advised.
They responded, indeed, with a pro forma message which doesn’t contain any key, viz.:

You seem not to have printed my earlier post where I asked if anyone knew about the 404 page using your free Camtasia link.
The first time I tried I did get an empty email. Every time after that I have only got a 404.
I need to download one of those image editing software (not exactly the screen capture ones) as I have been working on GIMP all this while which makes life very difficult. Any suggestion from your side? Needless to say, I am talking about free software
Theme development is really difficult if you don’t have a good graphics tool to edit buttons, background images etc.
