GIMP is the best But yeah, it is more suitable for professionals who can spare some time to learn and implement things. My next pick would be Paint.net. You can also try PhotoScape.

I need to download one of those image editing software (not exactly the screen capture ones) as I have been working on GIMP all this while which makes life very difficult. Any suggestion from your side? Needless to say, I am talking about free software

Theme development is really difficult if you don’t have a good graphics tool to edit buttons, background images etc.

You seem not to have printed my earlier post where I asked if anyone knew about the 404 page using your free Camtasia link.

The first time I tried I did get an empty email. Every time after that I have only got a 404.

They responded, indeed, with a pro forma message which doesn’t contain any key, viz.:
