With all the hype surrounding who would displace Google as the most preferred Search engine – Microsoft Bing or Twitter or any other, it perfectly makes sense to have a search engine which would combine Google results with results from social sites around the web. The service is called SearchMerge. You can choose to search Twitter, Friendfeed, Youtube and a handful of other social networking sites in addition to Google, all at once!
SearchMerge is built by @parallelworlds, @awfy & @calumbrannan. SearchMerge is also fairly slow when you’re using it to search every available site. The real-time search option is neat, but suffers from the same long wait for results. Its more like a beta version currently and I expect it to improve over a period of time.

Hi,
I heard of Bing and now another search site. Wow, I must admit that there are a lot of search sites popping up. Thanks for mentioning it, I will have to go and try it and see how it works.
