The biggest difference between PPTP VPN and OpenVPN is you need install OpenVPN client software to use OpenVPN service, and OpenVPN DO NOT work on mobile devices such as iPhone, iPad, Windows Mobile and Android. i decided to go with cyberghost, since im in germany and its a german programm, why not?
plus the speed they offer in exchange for an untraceble ip adress cannot be topped!
i also found out that they have this cool secure filesharing feature, something like the trafficshare option in rapidshare, but again, secure

Actually, OpenVPN works on Windows Mobile (don’t know about upcoming WM7, but WM5/6 are supported), Android (seem to require some tricky actions to set up), Maemo/MeeGo and jailbroken iPhone OS. Google for “openvpn platform_name” for more details.
