Sidewiki installs alongside the Google Toolbar, so it works with both Internet Explorer and Firefox. Google also says that they're "working on making it available in Google Chrome and elsewhere too." This sounds like they are planning to make it an 'in-built' feature in Chrome and will force the users to use it. I hope I am wrong and wish they make it a Chrome extension.
The much awaited MMS service for iPhone 3G and 3GS owners will arrive this friday. This is as per what AT&T has confirmed just now. The long-awaited Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) will be rolled out to all the users starting September 25th.
The announcement came via the company’s official Facebook page with AT&T posting that “Late morning, Pacific Time, on Friday, the new carrier settings update enabling MMS should be live and ready to download through iTunes.”
The software update only applies to iPhone 3G and 3GS customers. AT&T will also update its Facebook page with instructions and further details at that time. Although the iPhone OS 3.0 software update and SDK brought much awaited MMS feature to iPhone, AT&T wasn't really supporting it. This brings a moment of relief for iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS customers on AT&T that they ll finally get to user MMS capabilities of iPhone 3G and 3GS devices.
However, the support for tethering iPhone to use as modem with PC or Mac is still due from AT&T. I wonder when Indian cellular operators will start offering MMS support for iPhone 3G...
TrustPort Antivirus USB Edition is a special security software, designed for the protection of portable memory media. Flash drives have become normal means of transferring data and using it on multiple computers. Security of portable media has been unfortunately a widely neglected issue for a long time. TrustPort USB Antivirus comes as a perfect answer to this issue. When installed on the flash drive, it continuously monitors files being copied to the drive, so that no malicious codes can be stored on it.
On-access protection is further supplemented with on-demand scanning. The user can scan files, folders or drives on any host computer. If an infected file is found, it will be handled according to user settings. It can be renamed, moved to quarantine or deleted. To ensure the highest level of security, the software undergoes regular updates from the internet.
In addition to primary detection, it also allows the program to perform heuristic analysis of the code. It is able to detect viruses and spyware already by their structure and expression, even without an available virus sample. This is a crucial method especially in the case of completely new malicious codes.
