Curb Your Enthusiasm is an American comedy series starring Seinfeld, Writer, co-creator, and executive producer Larry David as himself, and produced and broadcast by HBO. The series was inspired by a 1999 one-hour fake documentary titled Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm, which David and HBO originally envisioned as a one-time project. Six seasons of the series have been produced and aired on HBO between 2000 and 2007. The seventh season is scheduled to premiere September 20, 2009. The series also stars Cheryl Hines as David’s wife Cheryl, Jeff Garlin as David’s manager Jeff and Susie Essman as Jeff’s wife Susie.
The seventh season finds Larry continuing to cope with the aftermath of his separation from Cheryl, even as his life remains intertwined with Loretta Black (Vivica A. Fox) and her family. CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM was nominated for four Emmys® in 2008, including Outstanding Comedy Series. It won the Golden Globe in the Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy category in 2002. In 2003, Robert B. Weide won a directing Emmys® for his work on the series. The series has also received awards from the Writers Guild of America, Directors Guild of America, Banff Television Festival, American Film Institute and Monte Carlo Television Festival, among others.
Episode 1 of Season 7 is titled “Funkhouser’s Crazy Sister“. Episode 2 is titled “Vehicular Fellatio” and the third episode is titled “The Reunion” where Seinfeld reunites with Larry.
