Update: Unlock iPhone 3.1.2 With BlackSn0w

As I had mentioned a couple of days back, the teen sensation, GeoHot will be releasing BlackSn0w which will help jailbreak iPhone 3.1.2 with baseband 05.11.07 on November 4th, i.e tomorrow.


GeoHot has been teasing the desperate users with sneak peeks of BlackRa1n and also confirmed that BlackSn0w tool will be Free to use as well.

There are more good news here – Geohot confirms on Twitter that, blacksn0w re-enables internet tethering on 3.1.2 as well!

Isn’t that an awesome news? You can now start using the data plan on your iPhone (which costs $30 on a iPhone 3GS) to good use, and use it to surf the internet on your laptop or computer for free. Watch out this space for more updates and the grand launch of blacksn0w within the next 24 hours.

  1. “no service” . Jailbroke and unlocked iphone 3.1.2 with blackra1n/blacksn0w. The phone goes from “no service” to Tmoble and back.
    Looks as if it’s not holding the carrier for too long. Can anyone recommend a fix. 3g

I am having a same problem with my Iphone 3g 3.1.2 05.11.07, I did every possible thing, but no luck.I am using T-Mobile and all it says No service, when I click Carrier under setting, it says searching and then it brings back T-Mobil and AT&T, even if I select either of one it says then “Your selected cellular network is no longer available, you can choose a different network in settings”
    I think I am not the only one who having this issue, I heard lot of people having this issue after unlock with Blackra1n, can some please help, really appreciate it.
