If you are a torrent downloader, you must be knowing by now that Mininova has decided to go legit, deleting all infringing torrents from its index marks, leaving only those which populate its content distribution service. Mininova was billed as the largest BitTorrent search engine and directory on the Internet, lost a legal battle with Dutch anti-piracy unit – BREIN and was given three months to comply with an order to removed torrents that infringed copyright.
Mininova was formed in 2005 by five Dutch college students, and has been providing free content worldwide ever since its inception. What this shocking decision by Mininova would mean is the removal of more than a million torrents, many of which were not infringing any copyrights at all. Thankfully, there are still plenty of alternatives for those BitTorrent users who are looking for the latest Ubuntu, OpenSUSE or Fedora release.

On no. 9, you have mentioned The Pirate Bay.
But do you know that the Pirate Bay authorities have already shut down the tracker and the website last week?
The site and tracker was shut down before the TPB logo controversy.
