I am disabled with a very modest disability income. There are many applications available that would help simply my use of the computer. This is a really wonderful programme. I always disliked having to change disks for different games. And the emulation facility for different disk is wonderful. If I got it it would be wonderful. I have only used the free edition but I liked it a lot. I imagine this would be plenty better than that.

Daemon Tools is an awesome piece of software. I use it constantly for backed up games and other software. I hate using the actual disks for software I buy, it’s so much faster to save off a quick image and install from the hard drive, to the hard drive. For games requiring the CD in the drive especially, this tool is very handy. Image conversion and all the other advanced features would be a huge bonus for me.

I used to use Alcohol 120%, but their increasing prices have pushed me to other alternatives. Daemon Tools Lite works great for me as most of my collection is already imaged. I primarily use Daemon tools on my laptop to limit the number of discs I have to carry with me.

Hi – I have a DVD Drive that has just stopped working (I suspect the elastics broke) and I cannot watch any DVDs. I would love to be able to mount my ISOs and watch them and this software would be ideal. I, like everyone else would love a license. Since I’m usually on the move, my only choice is to have most of my original programs in ISO files in a portable HDD. Handling these properly may not be as easy as it seems without a tool like Daemon TOOLS. I also work a lot with VMs and we all know using ISOs is the only way to quickly install and try Operating Systems.
I’ve been using the free (Lite) version since it came out (I used previously the only free version) and I’m happy with it, but could definitely use the features of the Pro Advanced version.

A few months ago I bought my young daughter a netbook (the Magalhães to be precise, a netbook specifically produced for school children, and sponsored by the Portuguese government). Also a great alternativ for not loose already burned copies of image iso-files, as might be the risk when handle CD/DVD’s almost every day.
Much better then keep it as a file on the harddrive and makeing backup’s or clone’s. I should say this software can change quite many habits in how we choose to work and handle image-files. It’s kinda evolution in new technical solutions. It was’nt long ago since we could hear that CD/DVD is one of the best places for save important stuff.
But how long is the lifetime in general before they being damaged?
Then it is better with a virtual solution like this one.
Been useing Deamon Tools free version from time to time and can’t say nothing else than I’m very impressed of this idea and also glad that this software became mentioned here for everyone.

I have free tools for creating virtual drives but none supports as many formats as this one. Further it has many other advanced features for which I need other programs too. This giveaway is awesome!

I have been using Daemon tools lite for a while now and I really like its simplicity and stability. However the features of the Pro Advanced version especially the IDE virtual drive and its image editing capabilities wold be very useful to me as I work a lot with images and have been using free software which are not always reliable.
Therefore I would really like a license for this software.

Im using DT Lite for ages for games, programs, testing bootable images for new created autoruns.
Im also in MSFN community creating unnatend scripts for some programs, i would like to get free PRO licnence to continue using DT and to backup my original DVD i think DT PRO is much more better then Alcohol 120% or PowerISO etc.

this daemon tools is good tools cause i have many iso file. i don’t want every single iso file burn to my CD or DVD i rather run them using emulation CD.this step make installation more faster and quick cause we do not have to find the installation CD in bunch of CD collection.

I have used the lite version for as long as I can remember, though some incompatibility issues with windows 7 have made me switch to a less featured alternative, so an upgrade to pro would be awesome.

I create a lot of DVD in .iso format (easier to burn and readable by my multimedia HDD) but I often need to access them from my PC and play them there.

I used Alcohol 52% Free (supports multi languages, can handle up to 6 virtual CD DVD-ROM drives, etc)
I really like the emulation software that allowing to play CDs DVDs without the need for the physical disc.
These programs allow you to read the virtual DVDs at high speeds (200x)

This emulation software has been around for quite a while now. I used it some 10 years ago, then switched to Slysoft’s Virtual CD, which is also good, but more fuzzy in terms of formats that can be mounted. As I am installing a new PC this might be a good opportunity to go back to my former brand.

This is great. I use and have been useing Daemon Tools Lite for years now, and this app has been of great use to me. Having the Pro version I know would be even more usefull. All the file types in the Pro version would only compliment the features that are in the Lite Version.

I would like to get license because this software is very useful. It support a variety of formats and has ability to edit them. It’s mounting manager is really great and useful with managing a lot of images. Context menu is also a plus. Various languages are also available which is really good for every software. I would appreciate a copy of DAEMON tools so I could protect my daughter’s cds and dvds. She tries her hardest to be careful with them, but you know how kids are. They cds/dvds get scratched and then she can’t get her Dora fix.

Daemon Tools is the best. I love being able to run my games from an image of the disk. Saves wear and tear on the dvd, and also means I don’t have to get up and down to get different discs when switching games, which is difficult for me since I am disabled. I have recently built myself a new PC after having saved up enough over the last 2 years. Getting a free license for the Pro version would be the icing on the cake and the making of a great Xmas.

Awesome! I would love to have a license for Daemon Tools Pro Advanced because I routinely use backup images to archive applications and games. I use currently use the Lite Version and it is plenty useful.
With multiple device support I could keep the most used discs active and ready. The addition of GUI and conversion support would also make the holiday even better.

Sorry I was late but I posted anyway because I really love the software. I am a graduate student doing research in film studies. I converted many of my DVDs into ISO files so that I can access them whenever I need and I can also choose whichever time point to start to play. I used Daemon Tool Lite alot before and had no issue, but since I upgraded to Windows 7, I found DT Lite frequently stops working for no reason. The only solution is DT Pro which I trial used and found impeccable. I only wish I had seen this offer earlier because I really need a DT Pro license.
