I like to use FilesDIRECT (http://www.filesdirect.com) to send large files and store them online: you can send files up to 2GB even with the free plan, storage starts at 10 GB, there's no software to install AND it includes 128-bit SSL encryption on all transfers. I really like how easy it is to use, too.

I will only use Mediafire(http://www.mediafire.com/) for sending large files as this site offers great speeds even to free members.

I easily max out my 2Mbps connection while downloading files from Mediafire.
There may be a 100Mb limit on file size but if the receiver does not get to download the file quickly, what is the point in sending such a large file???
