jv16-powertools-free

Whenever I ask anyone to tell me about few of their most favorite System Utility tools for Windows, I get the names of Tuneup Utilities, System Mechanic, WinOptimizer, Advanced SystemCare etc. It’s true that all these are good software, but many people don’t know about an utility which is equally good (if not better) – jv16 PowerTools 2009 from Macecraft. jv16 PowerTools 2009 is a powerful, reliable, and feature filled system utility/optimizer for Windows system which is definitely amongst the best in its area of work.

jv16-powertools-2009

jv16 PowerTools 2009 consists of all these tools -

Software Uninstaller, Startup Manager, Registry Manager, Registry Cleaner, Registry Finder, Registry Find and Replace, Registry Monitor, Registry Compactor, Registry Information, File Finder, File Cleaner, File Organizer, File Recovery, Duplicate File Finder, File Tool, Directory Finder, Directory Tool, Disk Wiper, Service Manager (New!!), System Cleaner, System Optimizer (New!!), Start Menu Tool, History Cleaner, Automation Tool

Click on each tool above to get a detailed info about it. In addition to these tools, it also has a strong backup & restore system which is very essential for any registry editing software.

When compared to other utilities, PowerTools 2009 is not as intuitive, but is very easy to use. The brightly colored interface consists of a sidebar that contains the four repair and cleansing categories (Registry Tools, File Tools, System Tools, and Privacy Tools). Clicking on one reveals a number of different options, which again, will seem somewhat opaque for novices, but will please those with advanced knowledge. For example, the Registry Find & Replace option in the Registry Tools menu will probably only be useful for a handful of people. For others, there is a one-click fix option in System Cleaner menu, under Privacy Tools.

Hence I suggest to use the backup and restore system extensively when using this amazing utility. If you are an advanced user, you will definitely love the options provided in great detail. The help document (in pdf) explains each feature extensively and the support offered is top class as well.

jv16 PowerTools 2009, offers tools that not only cleans and tweaks the Registry but also lets you disable Windows features that you don’t need or never use, delete sensitive personal data, and so on. It works on Windows XP, 2000, Vista and Windows 7.

The free version of jv16 PowerTools is limited to a 30-day trial, after which it’s $29.95 to buy. There’s also a freeware version, PowerTools Lite, with fewer features.

  1. Hi – I currently use a combination of all the system monitoring/optimization utilities on my computer – namely glary utilities pro, advanced windows care pro, win optimiser 2010 advanced (I am considering purchasing winoptimzer 6), ccleaner, and tuneup utilities 2009. I find using all these monitoring/optimization utilities in combination gets the best results and keeps one’s system running smoothly. For ease of use I think you cannot go past Win Optimiser, but like all of these programs you need to check which files the program considers junk before it deletes them from your system so you don’t delete important backups. Second preference for me is glary utilities – it is also a really good program. I have used jv16 powertools lite but not the full version. I am a big fan of system monitoring/optimization utilities and don’t think they get the attention they deserve. I would love to add jv16 powertools the series of system monitoring/optimization utilities I regularly run and as such I would love a pro license. Indeed I run multiple applications from a portable drive off of my work computer and believe these system monitoring/optimization utilities are essential for keeping the system clean and these applications running smoothly. So, in summary, I would love a free license so please put me in the draw and hopefully I win a license!
