I bumped across this infographic which explains clearly why it is better to buy a pirated DVD instead of an original one with never-ending FBI warnings, unskippable trailers, THX vanity sequences and more before you can start watching the actual movie!

You can click the image below for better viewing picture quality.

No, we are not recommending anything here, but just wonder why the hell they allow DVD creators to flag sequences as unskippable.

Well said sir!! Should be more of it.

For years the DVD makers have been getting away with inflated prices, as well as adding all this rubbish to help ruin the viewing pleasure.

    I’m with you!!

  2. Original DVD’s FTW !

  3. hi Raju and everybody ,
from a purely technical point of view, the pirated dvd is much more practical and goes right to the goal, while the commercial DVD takes painful turnings when we just want to see the movie which we paid for (expensive).from a financial point of view the pirated is obviously attractive even if we need nevertheless , a PC with a DVD recorder,an internet connection and blank discs which the purchase often benefits the multinationals which produce commercial films… and to finish, there’s the moral side with the DRM. on my opinion, I think that film’s industry has abused much before the generalization of the Web and still continues, the too high price of the places of cinema for a family is always an obstacle to reach the culture(in france). 5. Very hilarious yet a true post!! Origional dvd’s are too much overpriced as well

  6. One more hilarious thing that if dvd contains many episodes and every time one insert it, has to go through all the trailers which suks… more than wasting of time its a frustration i feel.
