Here ends the suspense. Apple has announced that iBad iPad will be coming to US on Saturday, April 3! Only the Wi-fi version of iPad will be released on April 3rd, while the Wi-Fi+3G models will be available in later April.
As for the countries other than US, Apple announced that all models of iPad will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK in late April.
iPad pre-ordering will be available from March 12 onwards for the US customers. The pre-ordering for both Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi+3G models will be available on the Apple’s online store.
The pricing and availability are the same as announced: Wi-Fi models will be available for a suggested retail price of $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB, $699 for 64GB. The Wi-Fi + 3G models will be available for a suggested retail price of $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB and $829 for 64GB.
