It gives the user detailed information about the web browser’s memory consumption.
The computer memory usage of the browser’s core, individual tabs, extensions and plugins are displayed in the task manager. This information can be used to exactly find out which component of the web browser is using most of the RAM. It also allows you to end process on any open tab without having to shutdown the browser.
Accessing Google Chrome Task Manager
1. While in Google Chrome, use the following keyboard shortcut: Shift+Esc.
2. The Task Manager will appear. Select the desired page that needs to be closed.
3. Click the End Process button.
While on the memory management on Google Chrome, you can check out memory usage by different web-browsers currently loaded in memory by opening a new Chrome tab and typing in about:memory and pressing Enter key.
