I don’t use IE for downloading Firefox or chrome too as I already have setup of these browsers in my hard disk.

there’s one thing you can’t do without IE is adding gadgets to the sidebar in vista …if not tell us how , it will be appreciated !!!
It’s also useful if you can’t find the restart button on your computer.
