Get YSlow and Page Speed on Any Browser via GTmetrix

With Google adding page loading time as one of the factors for search engine rankings, webmasters have their hands full in optimizing their websites for better speed and performance. YSlow and Page Speed are essential tools for optimizing website performance. But then, one has to be using Mozilla Firefox browser and firebug extension in order to use YSlow and Page Speed plugins. Enter GTmetrix, the online version of YSlow and Google Page Speed! It takes the URL as input and runs the tests in the background. The processing is pretty fast and results are accurate since it is using YSlow and Google Page speed in the backend.

The results are neatly presented with scores and the specifics breakdown for both YSlow and Google Page Speed. For ease-of-use, it also provides a bookmarklet. You can even compare your website with 4 other websites. As for the downsides, GTmetrix comes with the default (V2) profile of YSlow. There is no option to change this as in the original plugin. 10 Ways to Watch Friday Night Lights Online for Free!

Friday Night Lights is an American television series adapted by Peter Berg, Brian Grazer and David Nevins from a book and film of the same name. During the first three seasons the series details events surrounding the Dillon Panthers and, a high school football team based in fictional Dillon, Texas, with particular focus given to the team's coach, Eric Taylor (Kyle Chandler) and his family. In season 4 of Friday Night Ligts, Taylor takes over at East Dillon High School, where he coaches the Lions. The show uses this small-town backdrop to address many issues facing contemporary Middle America.
Friday Night Lights is broadcast by NBC and DirecTV. Season 4 will be premiered on May 7th 2010 on NBC, while the fifth season has been confirmed to be the final season of the series. The premiere pilot episode of Season 4 is titled "East of Dillon", while the following episodes are titled "After the Fall", "In the Skin of a Lion", "A Sort of Homecoming", "Laboring" and "Thanksgiving". With the release of Spirit untethered jailbreaking tool earlier today, we can now jailbreak any iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch running firmware 3.1.x or 3.2 with a single click. We have even posted step-by-step guides to jailbreak iPhone 3.1.3 and jailbreak iPod touch 3.1.3 using Spirit. But then, due to the nature of the jailbreaking exploit in Spirit, Apple can easily patch the exploit in their latest firmware update. Hence it becomes very necessary to backup your SHSH files before jailbreaking your device using Spirit. According to Redmondpie, SHSH blob or ECID SHSH is a unique signature which is checked against Apple servers whenever you decide to restore the firmware on any of your iDevice (iPhone, iPad and iPod touch). Once a new firmware is released, Apple stops signing the older firmware, hence making it impossible to restore back to the older firmware from iTunes. Using a SHSH blob, you can downgrade or restore back to the older firmware. This is important because if you don’t have your SHSH blob saved, and accidently update to new firmware, you’ll loose your jailbreak and furthermore, you wont be able to downgrade back to older firmware to re-jailbreak your device.
