Paypal India’s fiasco seems to have ended, for now at-least. Just a couple of days since they stopped electronic withdrawals for Indian users, Paypal has successfully managed to get it back on track much to the jubilation of several Indian users.

Dickson Seow from Paypal Asia Pacific team posted on the blog a few minutes back about the resumption of Electronic withdrawals.

We’ve received good news – India users can perform electronic withdrawals right now as you did before. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you over the past few days.

He continues with a claim of users appreciating the advance notice which must definitely shock several users who felt exactly otherwise. Remember, the notice was put on July 28th 2010 announcing that the Electronic withdrawals would be stopped starting July 29th!

We are still not clear about what exactly the issue was and how exactly they managed to resolve it. Still, it comes as a relief for many. Another good news to add here is-

To thank you for your loyalty, we will still provide the US$5 processing fee refund for any cheque withdrawals made from July 29 until further notice.

We never know when a new problem will arise with Paypal India. You are advised to keep a tab on this page for the updated news and also instructions on how to use Electronic withdrawals of your hard-earned Paypal money.
