Before I tell how to Flush DNS, you need to understand the need to Flush DNS. Many a times you must have encountered "time out" errors while browsing some websites. If you try accessing these websites through a proxy or VPN, they would work. When a computer browser visits a website for the first time, it stores the website's DNS information in cache. The next time the computer visits the same website, it looks in the cache to see if the website's information is present to use. In case the website's DNS information has changed or if the cache is corrupted, then it can cause problems.
Flushing the cache removes all the information stored in cache, thereby forcing the computer to find the new DNS information for the website.
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /displaydns...

Swiping through pages online feels just like flipping through pages in a book or magazine. And inertial scrolling makes moving up and down a page more natural than...
The landmark decision to append DMCA to make iPhone Jailbreaking and unlocking legal might have got you all excited, but as far as Apple's stance is concerned, nothing much has changed - "Jailbreaking still voids your warranty".
According to CultofMac, Apple's PR has released an official statement as given below
Apple’s goal has always been to insure that our customers have a great experience with their iPhone and we know that jailbreaking can severely degrade the experience. As we’ve said before, the vast majority of customers do not jailbreak their iPhones as this can violate the warranty and can cause the iPhone to become unstable and not work reliably.”In simpler terms, jailbreaking iPhone or iPod Touch or iPad or any iDevice will definitely void your warranty. Even in the past, Apple has not officially sued or prosecuted companies that publish or market jailbreaking software. From the end user's perspective, the jailbreaking scene may become a little less underground. So expect a flurry of jailbreaking businesses and unofficial app stores which have a market of more than 10 million jailbroken devices to make business with. It's an interesting future we can look forward to. Let's see where...
This is HUGE! The US Government looks all set to make the iPhone jailbreaking legal! In simple terms, the iPhone owners will be able to jailbreak and unlock their devices in order to download applications that have not been approved by Apple. The same thing holds good for rooting Android phones as well.
These new exemptions will allow owners to break access controls on all mobile phones purchased in the US, one of only a few exemptions from a federal law that prevents the tampering or the circumvention of technical measures that prevent access to copyrighted works.
This is a landmark decision. Primarily because, Apple has always argued that jailbreaking was illegal under the DMCA, justifying this by claiming that opening the iPhone to third-party and unapproved applications would compromise safety, reliability and security, as well as allowing software to be pirated.
In addition to jailbreaking, other exemptions announced on Monday would:
- allow owners of used cell phones to break access controls on their phones in order to switch wireless carriers [unlock]
- allow people to break technical protections on video games to investigate or correct security flaws.
- allow college professors, film students and documentary filmmakers to break copy-protection...
