Google's Nexus One mobile phone has met with a premature death. Google has pulled the plug on its only smartphone which was touted to be the iPhone killer. The last shipment from HTC has arrived at Google HQ, and once those are gone there will be no more Nexus Ones for U.S. consumers.
The dismal sales numbers of Nexus one is claimed to be the reason behind pulling the plug. Many saw this coming especially after Google announced the closure of web store two months back. But such an early end to one of the best Android smartphones is surely disappointing.
It is important to note that the Nexus One phones will still be available in European and some Asian markets as the closure announced is only for US customers. One of the first phones to have got the Android 2.2 Froyo update, Google's Nexus One failed to click in US, possibly due to the complex unlocked handset concept. Even the weird web-only sales and passive-aggressive marketing from Google might have resulted in dismal sales.
Customer service will still be provided for the Nexus One, even after it is no longer available from...
This is a must-do thing for anyone. If you track good number of feeds, you should use a good feed reader / feed aggregator. It will provide you with more flexibility and open service. If you can invest some bucks, then my for sure recommendation is FeedDemon which is a choice of many big bloggers. If you want to go for free service, check Bloglines for online reading and RSS-Owl for desktop.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Team India will take on Host Sri Lanka in the first Test of three match-series on Sunday, July 18th 2010 which is to be held at Galle. It will be a real test of character for Dhoni and his young bowlers under the adversity. In the absence of pace spearhead Zaheer Khan and S Sreesanth, Team India will seek to end 17-year-old drought of series win in the Sri Lankan soil.
Cricket fans of both sides are expecting a highly entertaining affair between the two sides. India was defeated by host Sri Lanka 2-1 in 2008, but the Indians took revenge in 2009 defeating Sri Lanka 2-0 at home.
Sri Lanka would look to emulate their 2008 success, while India would try to continue their recent good performance in test cricket. There is another reason this test is significance. Sri Lanka’s legendary off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan is going to retire from test cricket after the end of the...
