Now that Apple has released iOS 4.1, those who have upgraded to it will see a brand new icon – Game Center on their homepage. This is Apple’s single-sign-in system for playing games with (and against) your friends.
But then not all games are compatible with Game Center. And not all iDevices are compatible too.
Compatible iDevices
- iPod touch 4th generation
- iPod touch 3rd generation
- iPod touch 2nd generation
- iPhone 3GS
- iPhone 4
Right now, none of the games seem to be compatible with Game Center. Once you open the app, sign in and go to Games section, you will not see a single game in there. All you see is a link/button which says “Find Game Center Games” which links to Apple.com/GameCenter.
Check out the list of games which should be compatible with Game Center as and when the service starts to work properly.
