Apple has just released the much expected iOS 4.2 beta for iPad, iPhone & iPod Touch. As it has always been, this beta release of iOS 4.2 is for developers only. Those who are enrolled in the iPhone developer standard for enterprise program can right away access and download the beta build.

iOS 4.2 will bring multitasking, folders, HDR photos, Game Center, wireless printing, AirPlay and much more to the iPad. Apple is expected to make the final version available for users later this year (in November) as a free update.

AirPrint will automatically find printers on local networks, and can allow users of iOS devices to print text, photos and graphics directly to them over Wi-Fi, without the need to install drivers or download software.
