It’s raining gadgets this time of the year. HTC has just unveiled HTC Desire HD, an HTC Evo look-alike, but a GSM phone.

This comes a day after Nokia announced the launch of Nokia E7, Nokia C6-01 & Nokia C7 at London, all carrying the latest Symbian^3 OS. HTC has literally gatecrashed onto Nokia’s party by holding their press conference on the same day and at the same place (London) for announcing their 2 new phones.


HTC Desire HD – Specifications & Features

HTC Desire HD boasts of 4.3 inch LCD display with 1GHz Snapdragon processor and 768MB RAM. Much like other HTC models, Desire HD comes with unibody aluminium and runs the latest Android 2.2 “Froyo” OS. What more? HTC Desire HD comes with new enhanced Sense UI along with an 8 Megapixel camera with Dual-LED flash and 720p video recording, Dolby Mobile, 4 GB Internal Storage, microSD card slot and support for HSPA+ and 802.11n WiFi.

HTC Desire HD – Price & Availability

HTC Desire HD is scheduled to land in Europe and Asia sometime in October 2010. We still do not have official information on the price of HTC Desire HD, but certain reports suggest that it is somewhere around £415 (SIM-Free) which looks great if found true!

Update: The official price for SIM-free HTC Desire HD is £465. On Amazon, it is being sold at £375!
