Chuck Lorre, the force behind Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory, comes up with a multicamera comedy about a couple who finds love at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting! Mike & Molly will air Mondays (9:30-10:00 pm ET/PT) on CBS beginning September 20, 2010.
The series, set in Chicago, follows two obese people, Mike Biggs, a police officer who wants to shed some pounds, and Molly Flynn, a fourth-grade teacher wanting to embrace her curves, who meet at an Overeaters Anonymous group and become an unlikely pair.
Mike & Molly stars Billy Gardell, Melissa McCarthy, Reno Wilson, Katy Mixon, Nyambi Nyambi and Swoosie Kurtz. The pilot episode has Molly and Mike meeting at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting.
