For all you guys out there, here is something which you might like to gift yourself this Christmas – the complete archive of Playboy Magazine on a 250-GB hard drive! Much like other publications around the world, Playboy is looking to diversify by making its mark in the digital world. Last year they launched a website to read Playboy online for free and earlier this year, they came up with an iPad app. Now, they are offering every issue of Playboy, from 1953 to 2010 on a 250-GB drive described as small enough to fit “inside a briefcase or jacket pocket.”
Playboy hopes this archive will increase sales and the popularity of their magazine, as both have been dwindling in recent years. From their press release,
