The tech circuit is abuzz with news, leaks and rumors of Samsung Nexus S which is touted as the successor to the coveted Google Phone - the Nexus One. Though the rumor mill was active for a couple of days, we waited to have a clearer picture. Though, for now, the rumors still stay the same, we try to step back and check out whatever facts we have in hand. According to various leaks, the Nexus S will be a "Google experience" device, meaning, it will run the vanilla android (or the stock android) version without any baking. More importantly, the Nexus S is touted to carry Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS. We must note here that either Google or Samsung have not confirmed the existence of such a phone. So everything we have is based on leaks and unofficial evidences.

Samsung Nexus S - Best Buy ad

Though there were rumors of Samsung Nexus S (also known as Nexus two) a couple of weeks back, the unofficial evidence came via an honest banner ad by Best Buy. As expected, the ad was taken down soon, but not before it was cached by Google. As Phandroid pointed out, the banner stated...
Guest post by Nicole Miller. Have you been trying to figure out how to get your own videos on YouTube? Well, wonder no more. Here, I introduce one of the easiest ways you can finally get a fantastic idea out of your head and onto YouTube with some really fun-to-use tools. I'm talking about PowerPoint and Camstudio or Windows Movie Maker. This is my absolute favorite way to create videos because I like how everything I need for this strategy doesn't require any complicated hardware. To begin, I design a nice series of slides in Microsoft's PowerPoint complete with cool-looking backgrounds, fun graphics, and relevant text. Each slide introduces a point I want to discuss and when finished, I export the entire presentation as a group of JPG images. Then I load up Windows Movie Maker. With Movie Maker, I import each exported JPG in the order I want them to appear in the video and then export that collection as a video file. When finished, I upload the final production to YouTube. Easy! If I'm feeling creative, I might insert a few of Movie Maker's transitions and/or background sounds onto each image before creating the video. But if I'm feeling really creative,...
The sole reason for dwindling market share for Mozilla's Firefox has been its memory hog and low rendering speed, as compared to its counterpart. Where on one hand Opera is putting its heart and soul in developing API's for extensions, Mozilla has tried its level best to come up with a faster browser with much soothing UI. Today's release is a big milestone on that path. With Firefox 4 Beta 7 out, Mozilla can safely say that they have moved once step closure to develop a browser which can be considered a benchmark. It is three times as fast as its previous builds in Kraken Javascript Benchmark and Sunspider Benchmark, and five times as fast on basis of V8 Benchmark. The main reason for such tremendous boost has been the incorporation of JägerMonkey JIT compiler as a JavaScript rendering engine along with enhancement of TraceMonkey JIT and SpiderMonkey’s interpreter. According to speed tests conducted by Mozilla, the results showed a tremendous boost in performance. Here is an image of the test result.

Another major enhancement is incorporation of hardware accelerated graphics in rendering of websites. This...

moncarbone-review-1

Sexy is the word which came to my mind the first time I saw monCarbone's Hovercoat iPad case. If you own an iPad, you would already be mesmerized by its design and its imperative that many of you would love to flaunt the beauty rather than covering it up with a thick, hard folio case. Luckily, monCarbone's Hovercoat case adds to the beauty of iPad while still insuring it against minor falls and slippages. The HoverCoat is made out of real handcrafted carbon fiber that provides a very unique and great looking sharp look to your iPad without compromising weight or bulk. The HoverCoat is extremely lightweight and slim. It weighs as little as 42 gram and has a thickness of just 0.6mm!

Why Carbon Fiber for an iPad case?

According to monCarbone, Carbon fiber is the ideal material to appeal to high‐end users in the electronic accessories market. The precision engineering of carbon fiber provides high tensile strength and durability greater than the properties of steel! Through its unique crisscross pattern, it also provides an elegant look and the feel of luxury. Previously used only in the aerospace industry, top racing cars...
