Christmas is just a couple of weeks away and Santa must be getting ready buying all the gifts he has promised us! To help all of us track Santa, Google and NORAD are ready with their Santa tracker, using which you can follow Santa once he gets on the move at around 2am EST on December 24 2010.

NORAD, the North American Aerospace Defense Command, has been tracking Santa since 1955 and Google joined them in 2007 and integrated the data with Google Earth and Google Maps. You can track Santa either in 2D or in 3D right on your PC or mobile phone! All you need to do is – search for ‘santa‘ on Google Maps or Google Earth. If you don’t have either of the applications, you can check out NORAD’s twitter account, which will presumably tweet Santa’s current location in real time!

In addition to the tracking maps, the NORAD Web site, also features interactive tools that allow children to explore Santa’s village at the North Pole, play holiday-themed card games, and see what’s going on at Santa’s bakery and workshop.

Ho ho ho!!!
