broadband-internet

Guest post by Onibalusi. There have been a lot of improvements to the type of technology we use, especially with how people access the internet. Making use of a broadband internet connection can be a faster and more effective way to access the internet, however, there are some things to consider before choosing the broadband connection. This article will be explaining 5 major qualities of a good broadband connection.

1. Speed

The number one reason why an internet connection is referred to as "broadband connection" is because of its speed. Many internet service providers make many claims in their adverts only to end up disappointing you on the long run. If the broadband service provider you’re using does not deliver your required speed then there is no point using it. Even though you don’t need the fastest internet connection in the world, it is important to know what speed you need and make sure the broadband service you’re using is capable of delivering such speed.

2. Consistency

It is also important to consider the consistency of a broadband service before you use it. If a broadband service is very fast but inconsistent there is every possibility...
chrome-web-store-apps Google launched the Chrome web store early this month. As we expected, there has been a huge surge in the number of apps being submitted to the web store and it becomes really tough to know which of them are really worth trying, since many of the apps are nothing but the bookmarks to the homepage of the service. I have no clue why Google is allowing such low quality bookmarks as apps in the web store. So, here is an attempt to filter out the best Chrome web apps for the benefit of each one of us who are Chrome users. It does include some apps which are bookmarks but of higher quality and give APPy feeling to the users.

Ever since the highly anticipated Android tablet went on sale, we have seen some good competition in pricing amongst the three service providers in USA. And now U.S. Cellular has performed a price cut on the Galaxy tab. The 7'' tablet is now available at just $199.99 upon the signing of a tow-year contract agreement with the company. The price cut is a considerable one, but it applies only to the Galaxy Tab units bought with the carrier’s 5GB data per month plan. U.S. Cellular's 5GB plan would cost $54.99 per month, and offers customers the possibility to use their devices as a portable 3G Wi-Fi hotspot. More details here.

adam-video-demo Finally, we have the hands on video of the Notion Ink Adam tablet. The video demo shows off the multi-tasking capabilities of Eden UI, the customized version of Android, made specifically for Adam tablet by the Notion Ink guys. The video was published on their blog by the CEO, Rohan Shravan but only six hours after it was published 'exclusively' on Android Police, quite unusual to what we had seen all these days. Nevertheless, the video does look exciting and Eden UI looks much better than any other Android based tablet UIs in place currently.
The video which you are going to see has most of the application loaded in the memory, we believe this is how a heavy user is going to use the Adam. HD video playbacks and High definition games have not been shown since that is what you have already seen on all the Tegra Capable devices. We have not done even a bit video editing to make it look smoother or saturated and it comes straight from the camera’s data card (taking permission here to call adding subtitles as “not editing video”).
