4g-internet

As the drive for greater access speeds keeps increasing, technology is struggling to keep pace with this order. The newest proposed method is 4G which has a bright future, with a promised delivery rate of 100 Mb per second when used with highly mobile devices, and as much as 1000 Mb for stationary receivers. This kind of speed is what many consumers have been dreaming about as it will reduce download times for anything to virtually the blink of any eye. This system not only will cut the data rates significantly, but is light years faster than the older 3G model. Right now the current standard is 3G but 2G is also still being used prominently in many places. This type of technology is fine for data transmission in narrowband areas such as text messages and emails, but for anything that requires maximum speed, it is sorely lacking. This is all about to change with the way 4G networks will not only speed up the service but will also improve the way that transmissions are sent. This is because the newer type of network will...
Google seems to have copied Apple with their Nexus S phone webpage. Unless I have a serious eye sight deficiency, I am sure each one of you will agree with me. Be it the color combination, font usage or the basic design, everything about Nexus S webpage looks heavily inspired. Have a look at the Nexus S website (features page) yourself. Now check Apple's iPhone page. Now you understand what I mean?

Just as in iPhone page, each of the features are mentioned in headlines, with a brief description on what it's about. You will see the high quality image (with reflection) alternating right and left which is typical of any Apple product. "Learn more about..." link has been replaced by "Watch video". Other than that there isn't much difference you can point out.

Many Apple fanboys are already screaming about Nexus S, as a phone, being a failed take on iPhone 4. Not that I approve that, but then, every new smartphone in the market is bound to be compared with iPhone 4...

Google Search Engine is a free service that presents a variety of functionality. Google Earth Engine is the giant search engine’s philanthropic arm; it is a platform that provides assistance to collect and analyze environmental data.  Google has introduced a strong innovative mapping tool at the Cancun-Mexico climate talks, to monitor the ever elevating weather changes in the global environment. It is a new technology that puts extraordinary amount of data, satellite images-current and historical, online for the first time. This wealth of information is ready, to be mined and utilized towards the environmental issues. Google Earth is collaborated with the 25 years old Google Landsat Satellite along with more records. ium-drive-review-2

This has to be one of the most promising tech concept of 2010. Infinitec's IUM Drive (Infinite USB Memory drive) is a USB based dual WiFi device designed to allow a user to share their entire hard drive without running back and forth between PCs. Make no mistake, IUM is not a Flash drive as it doesn't contain any memory storage unit inside. It instead contains a small computer and 802.11n WiFi module within. IUM connects two PCs over an ad hoc WiFi network, thereby allowing content to be shared between the two computers. By computer, I don't mean just a PC or Mac. It can be your Xbox 360 or DTH set-top box. This is why I referred the concept behind Infinitec IUM drive as 'mind-blowing'. Let's check if the final product is as exciting as the concept itself?

Design & Setup

IUM has a very simple yet sexy design. The red colored USB dongle has curves and edges perfectly designed to catch your attention the first time you hold it. But the setup isn't as...
