Much like we had expected, the Korean company has announced the 10.1 inch variant of Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 to go along with the 7-inch model which was announced earlier this month.
Like its predecessors, the 7″ and 10.1″ Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 will be available in both Wifi only & Wifi+3G versions and will be powered by 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM. As you would expect, the Galaxy Tab 2 will run on the latest Android 4.x Ice-Cream Sandwich OS with Samsung’s Touchwiz UI added-in. The users will have an option to choose either 16GB or 32GB versions. The 10.1 inch variant will feature a humongous 7000mAh battery, while the 7-inch variant features 4000mAh battery.
Shockingly though, the Galaxy Tab 2 will come with just a 3 megapixel rear camera and a VGA camera for video calls. The rear camera is capable of recording full HD videos @ 30 frames-per-second.
There are no words on the pricing of any of the variants, but Samsung has clarified that the Galaxy Tab 2 will be made available in UK & Europe to start with and will then be launched globally by end of March 2012.
