It depends on the router. On some devices you can lower the power of the router from the control panel by lowering the transmit power (Tx).Also, you can try lowering your antenna and this might lower the range of your router or replacing the antenna with a less powerful one.

are there ways to confine signals? to amp DOWN the range? thanks. i’m very sensitive to wifi and live in an condo where i can “see” sometimes up to a dozen networks. is “bigger” the only direction wifi goes? is there a “littler” switch?
