We have just around a week to go for the WWDC 2013 where Tim Cook and Jony Ive are expected to announce the brand new iOS 7. But that hasn’t stopped the developers from submitting more and more apps to the App store, and we continue to see some nice and noteworthy apps flowing in every day.

This week’s roundup includes a couple of endless runner games, a couple of handy photo editing tools, a cool music app, a nice shopping list app and more. The list includes both free and paid apps, but note that some of these free apps are in fact freemium, in the sense you need to make in-app purchases to unlock full functionality.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic ($9.99)

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is a popular RPG (Role playing game) which was developed by BioWare back in 2003, and is now made available for the iPad by Aspyr Media. Thesaurus Rex looks to modernize the thesaurus by making it fast and agile, allowing you to quickly find the words you’re looking for without a lot of hassle. Good thing is it works offline and even has audio pronunciation available for all the words. A complete thesaurus app one would ever need.


Stilly ($1.99)

You like Vine? or Cinemagram? Meet, Stilly, a ridiculously simple to use app which turns anything you capture with your iPhone’s camera into a jiggling, wiggly, color-flashing GIF. The GIFs you create, can be shared via iMessage, SMS or Tumblr for now, with more sharing options in the works along with a few other features.

NarcoGuerra, as the name suggests, focuses on the war on drugs in Mexico, putting players in the position of the Mexican authorities as they try to defeat the drug cartels, as well as corruption within their own police force. Very intriguing and absorbing gameplay for sure.
