The Indian smartphone market is about to get even more crowded as it welcomes a new member into the fight – the Karbonn Titanium S9. The smartphone comes with more than satisfactory technical specifications, having a very affordable price – 19,990 Indian rupees, which is around 330 dollars. The Karbonn Titanium S9 is powered by MediaTek’s processor which is doing its best to push on the market quad-core smartphones at even more affordable prices.

The Titanium S9 model is kind of a big deal, as it isn’t just another smartphone launched on the market, but actually Karbonn’s flagship device so far. With a 5.5 inch large HD IPS screen, the Karbonn Titanium S9 finds itself somewhere in the confine of being called just a big smartphone or a phablet.

Karbonn Titanium S9 tech specs

You should know that the Karbonn company is quite young, being launched in March 2009. However, they have had a steady and rapid growth, being now the third largest mobile phone brand in India. Let’s have a look at Karbonn Titanium S9’s main technical specifications:

As we can see, Karbonn Titanium S9 has a few interesting features that will definitely attract buyers. The big screen is the first thing that will stand out, followed by the big 13 MP camera sensor. Also, the fact that it is dual-SIM might be perceived as a small advantage by consumers that are in need of such a feature. If you’ll buy the Titanium S9, the company will also throw in a free flip cover.

If you look closer at the device, you might see that it has a slight resemblance with the Galaxy Note II. Actually, it has the same 720p display as Samsung’s Galaxy Note II. Also, do note that besides having a 13 MP rear camera, it also has a 5 MP front one, which should be quite enough for video calls or for those that do a lot of videoconferencing and even for self-portraits.

Shashin Devsare, Executive Director at Karbonn, said the following:
