There are so many Galaxy smartphone models launched by Samsung that it is pretty hard to be able to remember them all. The South Korean company is targeting all kind of customers, who have different budgets and needs. Now, the company is unwrapping the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 smartphone, which comes with a 5.25-inch HD display, a quad-core 1.2GHz processor and 1.5GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Grand 2 is yet another large-screen smartphone that we commonly refer to as a phablet, as it comes with a big screen of 5.25 inches. The original Galaxy Grand was slightly smaller, at five inch. Also, the Galaxy Grand 2 has a more powerful quad-core 1.2GHz processor compared to the dual-core model found in the Galaxy Grand. Also, the RAM and battery have been improved from 1GB and 2,100 mAH to 1.5GB RAM and a larger 2,600 mAh battery.
The battery is said to last up to 10 hours of playback and 17 hours of calls. The camera has remained the same with 8 megapixels. It runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.3 and comes with dual-SIM capabilities. There’s only 8GB of internal storage, with microSD expansion up to 64GB.
The Galaxy Grand 2 comes equipped with several smart features specific to the Galaxy such as enhanced camera features – Best Face, Best Photo and Continuous Shot. Also, Story Album, S Translator, S Travel, Sound & Shot, Samsung Hub, Group Play and Samsung Link. It will be made available in three colors – white, black and pink.
As you’d expect, Samsung isn’t revealing the price and availability of Galaxy Grand 2. We shall be updating this article as and when we get a word about it.
