The LG G3 hasn’t yet been officially announced, but it seems that the moment is getting closer, as we see that LG Japan has released the LG Isai FL, which is not other than the locally flavored version of the LG G3 itself. At the moment, it seems that the smartphone is exclusive to the KDDI carrier in Japan and it represents the successor of the G2-based Isai. The smartphone comes with a huge 5.5″ QHD screen with a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution which translates an impressive 538ppi pixel density and sporting super thin bezels.
The smartphone measures 145 x 76 x 10.5mm and weighs 160g, is water resistant and rumor has it that it also sports the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 3, but this information is yet to be made official. On the inside, we find a Snapdragon 801 processor with quad Krait 400 and Adreno 330 and a RAM of 2GB. With this processing power, the smartphone is capable of 4K video recording with its 13MP camera. On the front, there’s a 1.3 MP secondary sensor. The LG G3 will be running Android 4.4.2 at launch, will have microSD card slot for expanding the 32GB of built-in memory.
Connectivity wise, it will come with LTE-Advanced, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and an IR blaster. The battery has remained unchanged at 3,000mAh just like with the LG G2, so it will be curious to see whether there won’t be any problems on this matter. The LG Isai FL will be available in White, Blue and Pink but we could add Gold to this range, since there’s been recently a leak with the LG G3 in that specific color.
