Remember the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro which got leaked a few days back? Well, that has been now made official, but with a different name – Lenovo K920. This latest flagship from Lenovo was unveiled at Mobile Asia Expo 2014 in Shanghai, and currently looks like China exclusive.
The Lenovo K920 follows Oppo Find 7 and LG G3 to flaunt a Quad HD 2560×1440 pixel 2K display. With a 6-inch screen it’s most definitely in the phablet category. It is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 (8974AC) processor with Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Also, it comes with a 32GB internal storage, but we aren’t sure if it comes with a microSD slot.
Lenovo K920 is running Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS with Lenovo’s own skin on top of it. The rear camera is a 16-MegaPixel shooter with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and the front facing camera is a 5-MegaPixel snapper. Connectivity options include BlueTooth 4.0, NFC and LTE capabilities. It also supports Dual-SIM standby feature. At 7.7mm it isn’t exactly the thinnest smartphone we have seen, but considering it’s housing a whopping 4,000mAh battery, we say it’s pretty impressive.
