Hewlett-Packard has unveiled its latest range of consumer notebooks and touch convertible PCs for Indian consumers, joined by a variety of colorful accessories. The new devices are the HP Pavilion Notebook Series, Pavilion x360, Pavilion 23 All-in-One and the HP Envy 15 notebook.

HP Pavilion x360

We’ve seen the HP Pavilion x360 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, but it has been launched only today for consumers in India. This is a touch convertible PC running Windows 8.1, featuring a 360-degree hinge that enables users to easily convert from notebook to a stand, tent or tablet mode. It comes with a 11.6-inch LED antiglare widescreen, Pentium Quad Core Bay-Trail processor, 4 GB of RAM and a 500 GB hard disk drive. The convertible hybrid is available for Rs 39,990 (equivalent of $669).

HP Envy 14, 15

The HP Envy 15 notebook comes with Windows 8.1, as well, and sports a 15.6-inch screen with Full HD (1080p) resolution. It comes with a special Control Zone trackpad, which allows for easy navigation. There’s up to 1.5 TB of additional storage, dual speakers and a subwoofer with Beats Audio experience.

The laptop is powered by a fourth-generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processor and comes with 8GB RAM (upgradeable to 16GB) and 4GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 850M graphics card. On the connectivity side, we find 3 USB 3.0 ports, an SD card reader and a HDMI port. Both laptops will be available in India from July 20, starting from Rs 62,990 (equivalent of $1050).

HP Pavilion 23 AiO Desktop

HP’s new Pavilion 23 All-in-One desktop has a 23-inch Full HD display and comes preloaded with Windows 8.1. It sports an AMD quad-core processor with Radeon HD 8280 graphics card, 4GB RAM and a 500GB hard disk. It comes with four USB 2.0 ports and a 7-in-1 memory card reader.

The all-in-one will be available in the market from July 20 for Rs 67,990 (equivalent of $1138). Ketan Patel, Director, Computing Category, Printing and Personal Systems, HP India, said the following:

HP is providing a special 3-year accidental insurance policy along will all new notebooks at a price of Rs 999. HP also unveiled a variety of accessories including speakers, headphones and headsets. The HP Slate 6 and HP Slate7 Voice Tab tablets have been updated with five new colored back covers, as well.
