No matter what they say about the new iPhones, there’s still a huge number of Apple fans all over the world who are eager to get their hands on the latest shiny toys from the company. Now it seems that we finally have a release date for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in India, if a recent leaked invite is anything to go by.
According to FoneArena, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are set to launch in India which on October 17th, which means this is exactly two weeks away, and just in time for Diwali, the biggest festival in India. The publication has got access to what seem to be customer invites to buy the newest iPhones. The invites say that sale begin at 00:00 hours in the midnight of the 16th.
Apple did the same thing the iPhone 5s and 5c launch in India, as it organized a number of customer launch events in major cities including Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai . Of course, at the moment we don’t possess details related to its pricing, but it’s expected to be similar to what customers from Europe are paying, which should equate to Rs.55,000 for iPhone 6 and Rs.62,500 for iPhone 6 Plus.
