Under new leadership and new ‘unusual’ products, BlackBerry seems to be slowly recovering from its downhill. And the right way to stay on this upwards trend is to keep launching new products, which is exactly what the Canadian company is doing. The company announced the BlackBerry Z10 at the beginning of 2013 and the Z30 in early fall the same year and now the phone maker is ready to release the missing link – the Z20.
Said to be a mid-range smartphone, the upcoming BlackBerry Z20 has leaked and we can now have a first look at its design and specs, as well. N4BB publication says BlackBerry will be promoting the upcoming device as an affordable handset for professionals:
Power Pros who want to be considered by others as being current with technology, yet cost is a major consideration in their purchase decision.
BlackBerry’s upcoming Z20 mid-range smartphone is expected to debut by February next year in black or white color scheme. Judging by this expected release date, a launch at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is possible, as well.

- 2GB of RAM
- 5” 720p touchscreen
- 8MP main camera with a 2MP front-facing snapper
- 2,800mAh non-removable battery
- 9.5mm thick body
- Penta-band LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0 with DLNA and Miracast

By the looks of it, the device doesn’t feature mind-blowing specs, so if priced accordingly, it could help BlackBerry further consolidate its shy, but positive growth. The Z20 could be BlackBerry’s first smartphone planned for release in 2015.
