What we were speaking about in the middle of October last year has now become reality –  the Lenovo VIBE Band VB10 is the company’s first foray into the wearables market. Judging by its name, it seems to be part of the Vibe line of products and Lenovo is promoting it as a ‘weaable accessory’ for the the Vibe X2 Pro.

The smart band is equipped with features like E Ink display, up to 7-day battery lifeand Bluetooth always turned on. It comes with fitness functions, phone notifications and waterproofing. By using it, owner can receive instant notifications – calls, SMS, Facebook, Twitter and more.

There is space for up to 150 characters on the display, which should be enough for the basic features it offers. The Lenovo VIBE Band VB10 will be available beginning in April, but the official price hasn’t been disclosed yet. However, some publications already claim that it will retail for $89.

The main body of the device is actually wrapped in metal, which comes in black, gold or white colors. It also comes with a rubberized strap and weighs just around 30 grams. The E Ink screen makes it possible to get up to seven days of battery on a single charge.
