Fly Mobiles, the leading Russian smartphone OEM has come back to India after a long hiatus with its Qik range of affordable Android smartphones. The company has tied up with Snapdeal.com to kickstart its Indian smartphone operations. The company has announced three smartphones – Qik+, Qik and Snap in the price range of Rs.2999 and Rs.6999
Fly Mobiles is a known entity in markets like UK, Russia, Ukraine and Southern Europe, and is now eyeing the fastest growing Indian smartphone market. At the launch event in New Delhi, Rahul Goel, the President of Fly Mobiles said:

The first of the three smartphones is the Fly Qik+ which is powered by the MediaTek Octa Core chipset clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with 600Mhz Mali 450 MP4 GPU. It runs the Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box over a 5 inch IPS HD screen supporting 1280 x 720 (HD) pixels resolution. Priced at just Rs.6999 ($112), Qik+ comes with a 13MP shooter on the rear with autofocus and LED flash. There’s also a 5MP camera on the front. The Qik+ has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage with a microSD slot capable of increasing the storage up to 32GB.

The Qik+ is taking on the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Lenovo A6000 which are quite a rage these days, and Google’s own Android One set of smartphones. Although it lacks the 4G LTE capability (as on Lenovo A6000), it does come with a neat looking design. Fly Qik+ is available for purchase on Snapdeal for Rs.6999 in Red and Grey color options.
The Fly Qik is the younger brother of Qik+ with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480p) IPS LCD display and carries the same Mediatek octal-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. It also has 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage with microSD expandable storage up to 32GB. The rear camera is 8MP and front camera is 5MP. It comes with 2000mAh battery and is priced at Rs.5,999. It supports dual SIM just like the Qik+.
The Fly Snap is the most affordable of the three handsets announced by Fly Mobiles today. It comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek processor with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. The screen is a 4-inch WVGA (800*480) pixels and has 5MP camera on the rear. There’s also a microSD slot capable of expanding storage up to 16GB. 1500mAh battery powers this device. The Fly Snap is aggressively priced at Rs.2999 (~$48) and is also a dual SIM affair.
