Samsung is set to unveil its flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S6, at its 2015 Unpacked Event in Barcelona. By now, we already know a great deal about it, such as details about its camera, body build and dimensions, its processor and the diversity of models. And despite the fact that we know so many details about it, Samsung can still surprise us.

But there’s a chance that the surprise won’t be such pleasant for Samsung fans, if some fresh leaked pictures contain any touch of truth. A member of the XDA-Developers forums has published some rather intriguing pictures which show that Samsung has taken huge inspiration from the iPhone 6 design. Have a look at the gallery from below and judge for yourself:

And if you’re still not convinced, compare them with the iPhone 6 pictures from below. The top of the iPhone 6 duo is pretty much clean, but even so, it looks painfully similar.

But if it will happen, then it will be a big departure from other Galaxy devices. As we can clearly see, it comes with rounded edges and a speaker grille that makes it look more like the iPhone 6. What you are seeing above is the bottom of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus.

However, the front and back of the phone are pretty much on par with the traditional Galaxy device, so there aren’t big changes there. The forum poster says this prototype comes from AT&T, so, who knows, maybe Samsung is thinking of offering an exclusive version with certain carriers. There are a few more days until we will know for sure.
