Apple has been on everybody’s lips in the tech world as the company announced quite a few things at its WWDC keynote. One of these announcements are important for Android users, as well, as Apple has informed of its plans to make its very first Android apps. Facebook Lite (Free)

Facebook Lite is the world’s biggest social network latest app for Android users. Just as the name suggests, the app is meant to be efficient with data and installs quickly, as its size is less than 1 MB. Facebook has designed this light version of its website for 2G networks and areas with slow or unstable connections. Facebook has express its desire to connect the developing world, as well, and this new app is an effort in that direction.

Angry Birds Fight! (Free)

Angry Birds Fight is a brand new game from Rovio which is meant to help you kill your time while you are waiting for your commute or you just want to have some fun. The game is described as a ‘match-3 frenzy where you take on other players in real-time battles of strategic, bird swapping agility.’ You will be able to play against  other players globally in real-time match-three puzzles, power up your birds, accesorize with different items to increase health, attack and add skills and much more.

FileChat (Free)


FileChat is a new Android app which allows you to collaborate on documents, pictures and videos within your favorite cloud storage. At the moment the app works with Dropbox and Google Drive. The purpose of the app is for coworkers to chat about and share files in your cloud storage. This is app is quite useful as it no longer requires you to move or duplicate your files again.  If you work with your colleagues on various documents, then this is an useful app you need to check out.

iO ($4.99)

If arcade games are your thing on Android, then you need to check out the new iO – A Physics Platformer game from Gamious. The game lets you grow, shrink, roll, leap and climb over 150 challenging mazes and  in ‘one-of-a-kind gameplay that includes portals, inverted gravity, vehicles and more.’ The game comes with over 225 challenging puzzles, intuitive touch controls, lots of achievements, retro-futuristic visuals and much more.

Popcorn Buzz (Free)


Popcorn Buzz: Free Group Calls is a new Android app developed by the makers of popular messaging app Line. And, as the name of the app pretty much explains it, it allows you to talk with up to 200 people at the same time, for free. You can use it to speak with your friends, family or with your coworkers or business partners.

Portal Pinball ($2.49)

If you like Pinball games, then you’ll probably be interested in the new Portal Pinball from Zen Studios. Your mission is to guide Chell and Wheatley ‘through test chambers by navigating portals, using aerial faith plates, defeating turrets and facing other obstacles‘. You Must Build A Boat ($3.49)

You Must Build A Boat from EightyEight is an ingenious new puzzle-type Android game. Your mission is to build a boat that you will use to travel the world. For that, you will recruit a crew to live on your boat. As you can see from the above video, your mission is to match as fast as you can to keep on running. You will be able to capture monsters, cast spells and other things as you progress throughout the game.

Live in Five (Free)


We’ve seen more and more streaming and broadcasting apps appear on the Play Store, and Live in Five is among the newest ones you can try out. The app turns your Android’s smartphone camera into a live broadcaster and you just need to click the “Live Stream” button to start broadcasting via YouTube. The app supports both vertical and horizontal mode of operation and comes with unlimited live stream time, which is really impressive.

Toysburg (Free)

Angry Mob Games’ new Toysburg title for Android players is a well-designed game that you could be interested in. The game might seem strange when you first start to play, but I can assure you that it’s very interesting. The children of the city of Toysburg need your toys to get through the most bizarre situations. The thing with your toys is that it can transform them semi-literally and give them somewhat-super powers. I know, this all sounds quite weird, but check out the above video for more details on the game.

Lifeline ($3.49)

Described as a ‘playable, branching story of survival against all odds,’ Lifeline from developer 3 Minute Games is a game for those of you who like stories. Your mission is to help Taylor make life or death decisions, and face the consequences together. Taylor is stranded on an alien moon and the rest of the crew are dead or missing, and Taylor’s communicator can only reach you. So, as Taylor works to stay alive, notifications deliver new messages to you during the entire day. So, can you save Taylor?
