This time we’ve got a good mix of apps and games, so you’ll find here plenty of titles for fun and play but also for your productivity. Google Clock (Free)

Google has released its standalone Clock app for Android users who are looking for an app with such a basic functionality. The new title comes with a material design clock experience and allows users to set alarms, add timers, and run a stopwatch, as well. You can also add your favorite cities to the World Clock pane and connect with Android Wear in order to snooze or dismiss alarms from your watch. I’ve tried the app myself and I can say that it looks quite beautiful.

Star Wars (Free)

There are many Star Wars-related apps out there, but Disney has release a new one for Android users which it claims to be the official one, hence the generic ‘Star Wars‘ name. Described as a ‘central hub’ for anything Star Wars, the app brings instant notifications on big announcements, lets you tTheme your app with various interfaces, each containing different designs, sounds, and animations. You can also  count down to major releases like Star Wars: The Force Awakens and do much, much more.

Medium (Free)


If you want to share your thoughts with the world, then is one of the best blogging platforms at your disposal. Even more now as you have an Android app at your disposal. Medium for Android comes with a simple editor, a dynamic interface and other features which are designed to make story posting very easy. You also get a personalized reading list based on topics you are interested in and what your friends are writing, reading, and recommending on Medium.

Democracy vs Freedom (Free)

Democracy vs Freedom from Rejected Games developer is a new tank game for Android users. Portal is a brand new app from the makers of Pushbullet which also deals with file transfers. Just like the name suggests, the app lets you easily transfer files from your computer onto your phone. So if you want to send something quickly to your phone from your computer and don’t want that to affect your mobile data limit, this is the app you are looking for. You can transfer individual files, multiple files, or entire folders at once and then you can easily browse, open, or share them. The pictures that are transferred with Portal are automatically put into your phone’s Gallery and if you have Android 5.0, then Portal can save files to your removable SD card.

SocioBall (Free)

Socioball is a new puzzle game from Yellow Monkey Studios which lets you play over 60+ ‘mind bending puzzles where you must get the ball from start to finish by placing missing tiles in correct places.‘ You can also create your own puzzles with the built-in level editor and test them out, as well. The game also lets you tag your friends and you can get more puzzles from twitter, as well.

Amazon Cloud Drive (Free)


The rebranded Amazon Cloud Drive is now available for Android users, as well. The app lets you access all of the documents, spreadsheets, music, photos and videos that you have stored in Cloud Drive. You can also preview your files within the app and enjoy a 3-month free trial, as well.

Eggheads (Free)

If you are a fan of trivia games, then you will most likely enjoy Eggheads from Barnstorm Games, based on the popular BBC quiz show with the same name. Your mission is to try and knock out the formidable Eggheads ‘over four rounds of specialist questions, followed by a final round of general knowledge questions against those who survived‘. You can play solo or with up to 5 players. You will get detailed stats for the Eggheads and Players, achievements, leaderboards, pver 3,500 questions from the actual show and 9 optional specialist question packs to purchase.

SBK15 (Free)

This is a very useful news app coming from a reputable publication, so go ahead and give it a try.
