It’s a well-known secret that Motorola is up to something and the recent invites for the event on July 28 further concretes the guess. It is most likely that Motorola will be pulling the wraps from the new Moto X (2015) and the new Moto G (2015) .
The fresh set of alleged Moto X 2015 photos from the Facebook page of Perú Android show off the device at different angles. The front fascade seems to be a little bland and typically Motorola. The back panel has been finished in dual tone and the lens unit is cordoned off in aluminum finish. The rear camera is accompanied by a dual LED flash.
Another important observation is the fact that the front camera is tagged along with a LED flash which speaks about Motorola’s intention to cash on the selfies craze. In all likelihood the upcoming Moto X (2015) will be fitted with a large 5.7-inch display which might be supplemented by a 5.2-inch display variant, both sporting QHD screens. There are also talks about 21MP rear-facing camera.
As of now, not many details of either the Moto G 2015 or the Moto X 2015 have emerged. Another set of rumors doing rounds is that Motorola might have incorporated the fingerprint scanner in the bottom speaker and users might be required to swipe left. If true, this means Motorola should be the first company to integrate fingerprint scanner without having to include a physical button (like OnePlus 2) or absurd placement at the back (like Gionee Elife E8). As for other specs, rumors say the Moto X (2015) should feature a Snapdragon 808 processor (like LG G4), 4 GB of RAM, a 5.2-inch QHD screen and a 3280 mAh battery. Overall the phone is reminiscent of its predecessor with familiar design elements.
