Despite being obnoxiously pricey in India, iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are expected to sell like hot cakes when they go on sale on October 16th, so much so that Apple is expected to rake in as much as Rs. 6000 crores (~$926 million) through iPhone sales in India. Like always, Apple will be selling the iPhone 6s across deferent channels including the traditional brick and mortar stores and eCommerce stores as well.

For the uninitiated, the iPhone 6s starts at Rs 62,000 for the 16GB and goes on till Rs 82,000 for the 128GB variant, while the iPhone 6s Plus starts at Rs 72,000 for the 16GB and goes on till Rs 92,000 for the 128GB variant.

If you’re trying to grab one on the launch day or during the first few days of the launch, there are some offers and deals which try to sweeten up the deal a bit. Thanks to the festive season kickstarting next week, there will be more such offers across channels and here we are trying to list the best of the lot to help you get the right deal. Be sure to bookmark this page and come back as we keep updating with more such offers.

Vodafone RED 1299 with

Vodafone, India’s second largest telco has partnered with Amazon to offer iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus with benefits worth Rs 8,885. Existing or new Vodafone India customers can buy a new iPhone 6s and get a fully built Vodafone RED 1299 worry-free plan free for six months from the time of purchase. This monthly plan includes 3GB mobile internet quota, 4000 free Local and STD minutes and 1500 local and national SMS. Charges above plan limits will be 50p/MB for data usage, 50p/SMS and 50p/min for voice calls. Users will also get access to a relationship manager and get priority access at the Vodafone stores.

So if you plan to pre-order, you’ll need to pay for the handset in full and it will be delivered after October 16. Also, one can opt for EMI options starting from Rs 5,537 from banks like ICICI, Citibank, HDFC, and SBI among others. This looks like a great deal for someone who has such a heavy usage. If you aren’t someone who makes 4000 minutes of calls a month or needs 3GB of 3G data, this is probably not for you.

PayTM and ICICI card

If you are in a hurry and want to get hold of the iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus on the launch day itself, this is probably a good bet. PayTM has partnered with ICICI bank to offer Rs 2,500 cashback for all iPhone 6s purchases. Moreover, if you pre-order the phone now, you can visit The Mobile Store in your city and pick up the phone on the launch day itself (i.e Oct 16). Mind you, the cashback will be credited to your PayTM account and not to your card.

eZone Retail stores and eZoneOnline

eZone, the electronics arm of Future Retail has probably the best offer on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in the country for now. Actually, the offer is not specific to iPhone 6s, but does include the new smartphones. Considering all models and variants of iPhone 6s fall in the price range of Rs 50,000 and Rs 1,00,000, you get Rs 8,250 worth of shopping vouchers when you buy any iPhone 6s model.

Basically, you pay the full amount for the handset and for that you’ll be given a shopping card which you can use across all Future retail outlets including Big Bazaar, Central, Home Town, Brand Factory etc for the next 11 months, so Rs 750 worth of shopping across 11 months. There’s no restrictions like ‘minimum purchase’ or number of times the card is used per month. If you’re wondering if this looks like a hard sell, I personally had purchased the iPhone 6 Plus last year on launch day and had got Rs 14,400 worth of shopping vouchers (Rs 1200 x 12 months) which I promptly used! Of course, the deal isn’t as sweet this time, but if you can club your purchases and ensure that the total shopping before 15th Nov is over Rs 1 lakh, then you can get Rs 18,700 worth of vouchers!

Hyperlocal delivery startup, Zopper is promising a launch day delivery for those who pre-order iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in select cities. Everyone pre-ordering the phone will be getting Rs. 1,000 discount up front, and those paying via the wallet will get a cashback worth Rs 5,000 upon delivery. This cashback will go to either PayUmoney or Oxigen wallet you use for purchase. Pretty good deal we would say!

Grofers is yet another hyperlocal delivery startup who is promising delivery of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus on the midnight of October 16th, minutes after the sales start in India. Although there is no discount on purchase, if you choose to pay via PayUMoney, you will get a flat 5% off on the invoice value. Not bad at all, specially if you want to have the phone in your hand before the morning of Oct 16th. Grofers is teaming up with Reliance Digital for this launch.

Others like Flipkart, Infibeam and Snapdeal are also taking pre-orders for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, but none of them seem to have any special offers at this point of time.

We shall surely update this post as and when we seen any good deal on the upcoming iPhone 6s in India. If you come across any offer, do let us know through the comments section below.
