HTC One X9 had been fueling the rumor mills from quite some time and now the device has been spotted on TENAA certification. The listing details almost all of the specifications and the picture shows off the One X9 clad in metal curved body.
The One X9 comes with a 5.5-inch FHD display with 2.5D curved glass and capacitive touch buttons. The device is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and paired with a 2GB of RAM, which in all likelihood might be the Helio X10. The One X9 will retail in two variants one with a 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage while the other will offer 3GB of RAM and 32GB of Internal storage. However, the good part is the microSD card slot that can accommodate a whopping 1TB of memory.
On the imaging front, the One X9 is equipped with a 13-Megapixel primary sensor with dual-tone flash and a 5 Ultrapixel secondary sensor. The smartphone is expected to feature the usual bevy of connectivity options including 4G LTE and will be backed by a 3000mAh battery pack, the One X9 will run the latest version of Sense UI baked into Android Lollipop 5.0.
The HTC One X9 is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2016 before the Taiwanese company pulls the wraps from its next flagship the M10. The One X9 might very well be a premium mid-range smartphone readied to rival the likes of Nexus 5X, OnePlus 2 and the several other phones in the segment.
